If you want a simple offline technique to get leads, Use Drop Card or Sizzle Card marketing for your opportunity. I use drop cards to build my business.
What are Drop Cards / Sizzle Cards and how do you use them? They look like real money and feel like real money. They come in .00, .00 and 0.00 bills. In my tests the 0.00 creates the most lead generation.
You will need an attention grabbing statement on your Drop Card / Sizzle Card to get people to your website. Get creative.
You will want to put your website address on your sizzle card.
Make up some kind of compelling message for your drop card, something like “Disappointed? Don’t Be. I can show you how to make 25- 30 real ones every month”
When someone picks up your sizzle card, they will go to your website. I suggest your website have a capture form to get lead information. I have a capture form on my website that allows me to capture visitors information so I can present them with other offers and training over time.
Here are six killer techniques I use to get my drop cards into peoples hands.
Newspaper Machines: I go out daily to all the newspaper machines in my area. Put my two quarters in each machine and I can place a sizzle card in each newspaper. When someone purchases a paper, they get a nice surprise when they open the paper.
Gas Stations: I will place a Drop Card in the credit card reader of the pump. I don’t fill up at one gas station, I’ll stop at three or four gas stations on days my car needs a fill up.
Book Stores: Hit the bookstore or newsstand and place your sizzle cards in self help and home Business books.
Junk Mail: Everyone gets junk mail. Well most of the junk mail comes with a postage paid return envelope. I place the drop card in the envelope and put it in the mailbox. Remember to wrap a piece of paper around the Drop Card so it doesn’t show through the envelope. Real people actually open the envelopes in mailrooms. I have gotten many leads using this method.
Restaurants: This is my favorite method for two reasons. The first reason is I like to go out to eat, the second reason is this method has brought me the most leads. I just put a drop card in with their tip.
Just Drop: Never leave home without your sizzle cards so you won’t miss an opportunity to get them out to potential prospects.
You must distribute these cards on a daily basis to be effective. The more drop cards you distribute the more response you will get.
These cards work for any business or industry, grocery stores, video rentals, repair shops, automotive, network marketing etc…
